Fabbricazione is an art work project by Jacq and IPER- collettivo. The project consists of the realisation of a site- specific figurative installation through a participatory construction process involving the artists and the community of Beste|MONOBI.

The work depicts a subject that relates to the production environment environment through the use of a module typical of the textile industry - the textile spool - and is the result of the contamination between the artists’ own expressive techniques.

The design, represented within the installation Fabbricazione, is called “L’Incontro” and is created by Jacq. The involvement of the company’s workers in the realisation of the installation activates a compositional

process of a participatory nature, in which Jacq and IPER-collettivo propose themselves as co-constructors and animators of a collective action. The spool is an object that is easy to find in a manufacturing context such as the one where we are going to act and has a strong iconographic significance.

This element is at the centre of the construction technique and is the result of research into creative recycling strategies and the reinterpretation of everyday objects in a different key.

The cylindrical supports that will be used are entirely regenerated from manufacturing waste.
